Eye You_ 2019

In the cintext of a research I found in the archive of the Rijksmuseum (Public Domain) the painting by Rembrandt van Rijn: Portrait of a woman, possibly Maria Trip. From this picture I have used a small part, the left eye of the woman. I've manipulated it digitally so that her eye now blinks.  An eye that winks at us from the past. In the Video EYE YOU Rembrandt as well as the past participate in our current history. The Dutch wooden frame focuses the view.
