In the performance PRIÈRE FUNÈBRE at Notre-Dame in Paris, I reconfigured language and ritual into a form of feminist dissidence.
The focus is not on a spiritual or religious attitude, but on a critique of the political, economic and moral function of religious symbols within Western power structures.
Notre Dame is understood here as a cultural archetype – a mythologised body with feminine connotations through which collective identities, national narratives and patriarchal orders are stabilised

In der Performance PRIÈRE FUNÈBRE in Notre-Dame in Paris habe ich Sprache und Ritual zu einer Form feministischer Dissidenz umgestaltet.
Der Fokus liegt dabei nicht auf einer spirituellen oder religiösen Haltung, sondern auf einer Kritik der politischen, wirtschaftlichen und moralischen Funktion religiöser Symbole innerhalb westlicher Machtstrukturen.
Notre Dame wird hier als kultureller Archetyp verstanden – als mythologisiertes Gebilde mit femininen Konnotationen, durch das kollektive Identitäten, nationale Narrative und patriarchalische Ordnungen stabilisiert werden.
