Meine Beschäftigung mit der aktuellen globalen Entwicklungen und der politischen Verhärtungen führten zu dieser Arbeit. Die Frage ist: „Wohin entwickeln wir uns in dieser von Brüchen, Verschiebungen und Transitionen geprägten Zeit.
Mit dem Titel „Wohin“ habe ich einen Bezug zwischen unserem Gehirn mit seinen Furchen und Windungen und dem sich zunehmend schneller ausdehnenden Kosmos gesucht. Die Frage „Wohin“ setzt das kleine, jedem einzelnen Menschen innewohnende Gehirn und dessen komplexen, aber oft auch verheerenden Leistungen in Beziehung zum unendlich grossen gemeinsamen Welt-Raum in dem wir leben. Die Morphologie der Skulptur am Anfang der Installation verleiht den Druckgrafiken Dynamik und Bewegung, indem es mit seiner Struktur den wellenförmigen Ablauf der Drucke vorwegnimmt und weitergibt.
Während des Prozesses dieser Arbeit führte mich der Inhalt zu einer Demut, die sich in der Ausstellungspräsentation spiegelt – das Unfassbare liegt zu unseren Füssen.

My concern with the current global developments and the political hardening led to this work. The question is: „Where are we heading in this time characterized by ruptures, shifts and transitions.
With the title „Where to“ I have sought a relationship between our brain with its furrows and convolutions and the increasingly rapidly expanding cosmos. The question „Where to“ relates the small brain inherent in each individual human being and its complex but often devastating achievements to the infinitely large shared world-space in which we live. The morphology of the sculpture at the beginning of the installation adds dynamism and movement to the prints, anticipating and relaying with its structure the undulating flow of the prints.
During the process of this work, the content led me to a humility that is reflected in the exhibition presentation – the inconceivable is at our feet.
